Mayor Bell Keynote Speaker at Business Leaders Breakfast

Dr. Kingsley Fletcher addresses how the Global Leaders Center will impact Durham, RTP, and the world

Durham, NC (September 22, 2015) – On Saturday, September 19^th, the Global Leaders Center (GLC), a subdivision of Life International, hosted a private Business Leaders Breakfast at the Sheraton Imperial. Approximately 100 Durham business and community leaders attended the event, including: Assistant Chief of Police, Winslow Forbes; Attorney Butch Williams;  Mayor Pro Tempore, Cora Cole-McFadden; President of Mattioli Financial Services, Del Mattioli; and many more. Mayor William Bell, guest speaker at the breakfast, talked about the vital role of effective leadership in Durham. Visionary and GLC Founder, Dr. Kingsley Fletcher, shared his vision of the forthcoming Global Leaders Center with the attendees.

Dr. Fletcher stated that, “The GLC will be a world-class executive leadership institute. It is designed to nurture a global community of leaders. Focusing on the population age ranging from 18-55, the center looks to develop strategies to address critical long-standing and emerging global issues in addition to equipping a new generation of global leaders for the 21^st century and beyond. The GLC will provide innovative culturally sensitive solutions that will enhance the quality of life within the community.  It will harness the untapped potential and unique experiences among individuals to develop extraordinary leadership opportunities, including spiritual, educational, corporate, and social.”

Rapidly rising, the GLC looks to establish partnerships with corporations that enhance leadership skills for their employees, create an excitement for entrepreneurial creativity, and sharpen ethical thinking skills to drive business results.
