Raised in Ghana, West Africa- our Visionary Founder, King Adamtey was directed by the Lord at an early age to travel the world with the message of the gospel. In 1983 King Adamtey traveled from Africa to the United States as a missionary, during a time when most people were accustomed to missionaries traveling to Africa with the Word of the Lord. To date, he has traveled to over 125 nations on a mission to share the Gospel and respond to the needs of underserved communities.
From its inception, Life International has had a heart to serve nations. To be a place "where nations gather" started from a desire to spread God's Word to the nations. Serving local and global communities is a fundamental pillar of our ministry. Jesus left us with the statement known as the Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
